The Floppotron 3.0 – Computer Hardware Orchestra
Die Idee hinter dem Floppotron ist es, Klänge mithilfe veralteter Computerhardware zu erzeugen, darunter Diskettenlaufwerke, Festplatten, Scanner und andere elektronische Geräte. Diese Hardware wird dann so programmiert, dass sie musikalische Töne produziert, indem sie mechanisch gesteuert wird, um Geräusche zu erzeugen, die normalerweise nicht als musikalisch wahrgenommen werden.
